SAW Wire

SAW Wires, also known as Submerged Arc Welding Wires, are filler metal electrodes used in the Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) process. They are continuously fed into the welding process and are used to join two metal parts together.  SAW is a highly efficient and versatile welding process that is widely used in heavy industries such as shipbuilding, pressure vessels, and pipelines. With SAW, the welding wire is submerged in a protective flux, which eliminates the need for shielding gas and provides a smooth and consistent weld. SAW wires come in various diameters and compositions to accommodate different welding applications and material types, such as carbon steel, low-alloy steel, and stainless steel and are an essential component in heavy industries like shipbuilding, pressure vessels, and pipelines.
